this week has sucked. to say the least. and that makes me sad, because it is easter time, which is an important time of the year, and i find myself not being able to focus on what really matters.
i wont get into many details.. but work has been awful. i have been so emotionally upset about it. it has started affecting my mood, attitude, eating habits, and sleeping patterns. i am trying to just let go and to allow God to do with it what He intends.. but for some reason, i have not been able to shake things off this week. i have been so frustrated that it's causing me to re-think even coming back to korea for another year.. and i dont know why i feel that way. nothing that extreme has happened. i think i am just getting to my tipping point.
i also feel like my life outside of school is a bit out of whack. i find myself frustrated with those around me and those not around me. i have been missing brittany a lot this week and i think that has had something to do with it. we have talked almost every day, but for some reason, it hasnt been enough. i am finding myself having negative and resentful thoughts about my friends, whether they are in korea or in other parts of the world, and again, i dont know why! i keep praying about it, and repenting of my negative behaviour or thoughts- but i am not feeling any peace.

now that today is over (i wrote the above earlier today) i must admit that i am feeling much better. it is amazing how much my stress level goes down when friday is over. what is also amazing, is how laughter can bring such ease to my mind and body.
i know that the enemy is attacking me hardcore right now. and i know that i have not been dealing with it in a healthy or appropriate manner. but i believe the truth. and i believe what God says about who i am in Christ, and i am so grateful for that.
after watching the last few chapters of the book of Matthew on dvd tonight, i felt myself release my emotions and let go of the worry. just look at what Jesus did for me so i could be free. it is ridiculous to allow myself to get so worried about things, especially things out of my control. i need to keep my focus on Jesus and allow Him to direct my path. -something i need to be constantly reminded of.
.. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. -Matthew 28:20
